Illustration - Even though the ideal is high…
Made with Illustrator and Photoshop
A submission to Artboy Gallery’s ‘Fanboy Vs Artboy: Videogames’ exhibition, paying tribute to one of my favourite games: Ikaruga.
Ikaruga is a shoot’em up that revolves around the concept of polarity, with this in mind I had the idea to represent this concept by making an Anaglyph image. An anaglyph is an image made from two overlaid images, each shown in a different color channel, so that when the final image is seen as three-dimensional when viewed with 3D glasses (the old red/blue ones, not the IMAX ones, obviously).

Flash Site - O85DESIGN 2010 Folio

Made with Adobe Flash

This is my 2010 folio, I decided to channel my love of videogames by trying something a little crazy and design the entire folio look like a 90’s arcade game, complete with 16-bit art assets and a chiptune soundtrack. Personally, I think it worked out pretty well.
